JTeam also develops applications for the Android platform. Android is a software stack for mobile devices developed by Google. While still relatively new and no competition for the popularity of the iPhone, we feel that Android is an upcoming platform and will get much more popular as more and more device manufacturers embrace the platform.
Android Solr Explorer
JTeam has developed a sophisticated query UI for Apache Solr: the Solr Explorer. This application was developed using GWT and runs in a browser. However, as a showcase project, we also developed a version of the Solr explorer that runs on the Android platform.
